The tone!
One of the most basic aspects of a story is the tone. The tone is the authors attitude towards a ceratin topic or subject.
In this story the tone is mostly monotoned, and doesn't show much emotion through the words and details Ishmael gives. The overall effect of the tone on this particular story is that it makes the story a better read. He doesn't pour large amounts of emotion in to his words, making us want to read more and isn't discouraging to the reader. Stayed tuned readers, for the story structure is next on my list!

A Long Way Gone Project: The Initial Post(:
For my project I am doing a blog, but not just any school blog. THIS WILL BE THE BLOG OF ALL BLOGS!
